Monday — Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

What Monday is

Monday is a personal AI memory app. It records voice and text entries, learns behavioral patterns from them, and builds a living model of who you are over time. This policy explains what data we collect, how it is stored, and your rights over it.

Data we collect

How data is stored

All data is stored in a private SQLite database scoped to your account. Your data is never commingled with other users. Monday does not use your data to train AI models. Your data is never sold or shared with third parties for advertising.

Data is stored on Railway infrastructure. Backups are retained for 30 days.

Push notifications

If you grant notification permission during onboarding, Monday will send you proactive notifications — morning briefs, weekly digests, streak reminders, and insights based on your entries. Push delivery uses Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM); your push token is sent to FCM solely to route notifications to your device.

You can disable notifications at any time in Android Settings → Apps → Monday → Notifications. Doing so does not affect any other functionality of the app.

Health data

Monday requests read-only access to Android Health Connect for: steps, sleep duration, resting heart rate, and active calories. This data is used solely to provide context to your personal AI model (e.g., noting when low sleep correlates with mood changes). It is stored only in your private database and is never shared or used for advertising.

You can revoke Health Connect permissions at any time in Android Settings → Privacy → Health Connect.

Your rights

Third-party services

Children

Monday is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Continued use of Monday after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
